Multiservice fire brigade unit: video wall and Poly camera

We are working with a fire and rescue service in Northern France to equip a multiservice unit with dynamic display. In our case study, several workstations coexist: 1 Civil Protection station, 1 EMS / medical rescue station, 1 fire station desk, 1 Drag & Drop station and a Poly camera.

Duplicate and optimise a Poly camera on the video wall

Our goal: to duplicate and optimise the display of a Poly camera. Thanks to an HDMI splitter placed on the Poly, we send the signal both to a standard screen and to the video wall. With our touch tool, the operator can easily:

• Show a specific zone in full screen,
• Switch a Teams source to the main screen,
• Move dynamically from one station to another from the Poly CG8 touch screen.

A simple and sovereign HDMI chain for the command room

In short, we integrate a Poly Studio X50 camera with HDMI output, a KVM switch and a touch control system. Together they enable smooth management of the displays, in full screen or in a grid, on the video wall. A simple, efficient and responsive solution for command rooms.

This HDMI approach, with no network dependency, illustrates our fire brigade and emergency services solution: proven hardware, control with no training required, and full sovereignty over the video streams.
