Our tactical case heads out for a field test with a Gendarmerie PSPG
It is still in our workshop, among a few screens, Axis cameras and IT equipment. This tactical case will soon leave that environment for a very different mission.
A PSPG of the Gendarmerie nationale is going to test it
A PSPG is a specialised protection platoon of the Gendarmerie (peloton spécialisé de protection de la Gendarmerie). These units of the French Gendarmerie nationale protect sensitive sites, starting with nuclear power plants: immediate response in the event of an intrusion, coordination with the site’s security forces, a posture maintained 24 hours a day. In other words, operational teams who need a shared picture, right away, wherever they are.
No grand speeches. No sales presentation. A real test, in the field, with real operational teams.
What they are going to put to the test
The case carries a complete command post: screens, mini PC, touch control, and the software that displays cameras, maps and documents on an improvised video wall. It deploys in a few minutes, without the site’s network, without cloud, without subscription.
That is exactly why we designed it: a command set-up that fits in a case, that you open wherever the situation demands, and that keeps working even when nothing else does.
