What digital signage hardware should I use?
If you want to begin in the beautiful world of digital signage, you will need to have a good understanding of what kind of digital signage hardware you require, but we know that this can be very difficult to choose the best. 1. Computer
First, you need to choose the computer that is adapted to your need because the choice of your computer will be different depending on how many screens you want to use. To choose the best computer you have two options:
- You can buy a ready-to-use computer, in other words, you buy your computer depending on what you want to do with;
- You can buy the different computer components and add them in your computer. To do that, you need to have a good understanding on how to do it, we recommend you tu buy a ready-to-use computer.
One screen to three screens
Operating System: Win 7 64-bit / Win 8.1 64-bit / Win 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz / AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1050 / Radeon RX 550
Disk Drive: SSD 240 GB
With this configuration, you will don't have any problem to run our software on one to three screens, but if you want to use more than three screens, you will have to upgrade your setup.
By the way, Easy Multi Display will also work with a most recent configuration. This one is just an example.
Four screens to five screens
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K 4,6 GHz / AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 4GHz
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 580
Disk Drive: SSD 480 GB
Like you can imagine, if you want to use four screens or five screens, you will need a better configuration. This one is better and can handle from one screen to five screens.
Six screens
Operating System: Win 7 64-bit / Win 8.1 64-bit / Win 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K 4,9 GHz / AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 4,5GHz
RAM: 32 GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 1660 / AMD RX VEGA
Disk Drive: SSD 480 GB
With this configuration, you can broadcast up to six screens simultaneously. This is the best setup you will need!
What else?
In order to run your computer with the displays and software, you will need as many HDMI cables as you have displays. You can also opt for a wi-fi system, which will save you HDMI cables.
You may also need a second graphics card if the first one does not have enough HDMI ports. Check the number of HDMI ports your graphics card has with a computer consultant to avoid unpleasant surprises.

2. Screens
Every type of screens will work with Easy Multi Display, so honestly, here we suggest you to choose the best screen that will fit perfectly with your shop. Our software allows you to divide each screen into up to four different parts so you can display up to 24 sources simultaneously if you have six screens.
We have many customers who have chosen our "enterprise" version which supports six screens and also has a remote control but you can as well choose our "one screen" version if you only want to broadcast on one screen.
